What is the method of celebrating Shab e Mi’raj – شب معراج?

There is no method of celebrating the Night of Mi’raj by Rasoolullahi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam or his noble companions recorded through authentic avenues and neither Rasoolullahi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam nor his companions or their followers did engage themselves in any special Ibadath in this night. Therefore it is not correct at all rather an innovation to consider a special Zikr, Thasbeeh or any method of Ibadath particularly for this night and consider it to be rewardable and a cause of Sawab. Further in our country of Pakistan traditions which are adhered to in this occasion are mostly inherited from Jewish and Hindu culture. Hence instead of engaging in such traditions it is necessary to turn towards Allah, and, in it remains, salvation and success.
