What is status of following narration?
يأتي على الناس زمان يقتل فيه العلماء كما يقتل الكلاب فيا ليت العلماء في ذلك الزمان تحامقوا
Answer:
This narration is recorded in Musnadul Firdaws, on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).
(Musnadul Firdaws, Hadith: 8671)
In addition to this chain being weak (due to tadlis), I could not find the biographies of many of the narrators in this chain to ascertain their reliability or lack thereof.
