Is it permissible to perform Namaz with an Imam (Ahlim) in Jumma Masjid who trims their beard instead of growing it?

Assalamualikum Mufti Sahib., There is a Imam (Ahlim) in Jumma Masjid in Labour Camp but the Imam is trimming his beard instead of growing his beard, can we made Namaz beside this imam?

Answer

(Fatwa: 490/358=L/1430)

The salah is makrooh behind an imam who trims his beard; therefore if there is any other mosque nearby where the imam is pious and following the Sunnah, then you should perform salah behind him. Yes, in case of compulsion, you can pray behind the imam mentioned above.
