Authenticity of the virtue of offering two rak’ahs after Maghrib before speaking to anyone

Question

What is the authenticity of this Hadith?

Makhul (rahimahullah) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“If the two rak’ahs after Maghrib are performed before speaking, it will be lifted high into the heavens.”

 

Answer

This narration is recorded in Al Marasil of Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahullah).

Makhul (rahimahullah) relates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever offers two rak’ahs of Salah after Maghrib before speaking to anyone, they will be recorded/lifted high into the heavens.”
