Is this authentic?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“The best du’a/most beloved du’a to Allah Ta’ala is to say ‘O Allah! Have mercy on the entire ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)”
Answer:
Imam Al ‘Uqayli, Imam ibn ‘Adiy (rahimahumallah) and others have recorded this narration. However, the Muhaddithun have declared the Hadith a fabrication. Therefore, it is not suitable to quote.
