Fulfilling the needs of a Muslim

Kindly provide a sound Hadith on the virtue of fulfilling the needs of a Muslim

Answer

1) Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He should not wrong him nor surrender him to his enemy. Allah will take care of the needs of anyone who takes care of the needs of his brother. On the Day of Qiyamah Allah will remove the worries of anyone who removes the worry of another Muslim. On the Day of Qiyamah Allah will conceal the faults of anyone who conceals the faults of another Muslim.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 2442 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2580 )

2) Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whomsoever removes some worldly grief/difficulty of a Muslim, Allah will remove his worry on the day of Qiyamah. Allah will make it easy in this world and in the Hereafter for that person who makes it easy for one who is hard pressed in this world. Whomsoever conceals a Muslim’s faults, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and on the Day of Qiyamah. Allah will assist a person as long as he assists his brother..”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2699)
