Uniting with idolaters and worshipping idols are signs of Qiyamah

Is this Hadith authentic?

Sayyiduna Thawban (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Qiyamah shall not be established until tribes of my ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols.”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith and has declared the Hadith authentic (sahih).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2219)

Imams Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah (rahimahumallah) have recorded this as part of a longer Hadith, with variation in the wording.

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4249, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 3952)

The Hadith as appears in Sunan Tirmidhi is as follows:

Sayyiduna Thawban (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Qiyamah will not established until tribes of my ummah unite with the idolaters and until they worship idols. Soon there will be thirty impostors/liars, each of them claiming to be a Prophet, whereas I am the seal of all Prophets, there is no Nabi after me.”

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
