What is status of following narration?
قد أفلح من رزق لبا
Answer
Imams Tabarani and Bayhaqi (rahimahumallah) have recorded this, as part of a longer Hadith.
(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 70 volume: 19, Shu’abul Iman, Hadith: 4333-4334)
The Hadith has been reported with two chains that corroborate each other.
(Refer: Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 9 pg. 401, Faydul Qadir, Hadith: 6100 and Al Mudawi, Hadith: 667)
Translation
One who has been blessed with a clear mind is certainly successful [i.e. One whose mind is clear, carries out Allah’s orders and abstains from sin and prefers the Hereafter over this life]
(Faydul Qadir, Hadith: 6100 and Mirqat, Hadith: 3702)
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
