Can this be quoted?
Yazid Ibn Abi Habib states that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) passed two women who were performing their prayer. He said to them: “When you prostrate, make part of your body touch the ground because a woman is unlike a man in these aspects.”
Answer
This Hadith is mursal (wherein a Tabi’i reports directly from Nabi -sallallahu’alayhi wasallam). It is reported with a reliable chain to the Tabi’i in question; Yazid ibn Abi Habib (rahimahullah) and can be quoted.
Note: Mursal narrations that have reliable chains may be quoted, according to the majority of Fuqaha (Jurists) and several Muhaddithun.
