What is the reference and authenticity of the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) in which he says, “Committing sins causes a person to forget knowledge ”

Imam Tabarani and others have recorded this statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with a chain that has an omission and is therefore weak. Nevertheless, the narration is suitable to quote.
