I came across two opinions regarding the masnun surahs to be read in Eid Salah:
1. Surah ‘Ala and Surah Ghashiya
2. Surah Qaf and Surah Qamar
Are these established from reliable Ahadith?
Answer:
Yes indeed. ‘Allamah Nawawi (rahimahullah) has written that Rasulullah would probably alternate between these sets of surahs on different occasions.
(Al-Minhaj, Hadith: 2025)
Both sets mentioned in your question are recorded in Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2025 and 2056.
