Answer
Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration with a weak chain, on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu). This is suitable for practice.
(Al Mu’jamus Saghir, Hadith: 986)
Imam Ibn Majah has also recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu). This version does not contain the words ‘habitually’.
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 824. Also see Al Mu’jamus Saghir, Hadith: 887. Also see: Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 2 pg. 168, Fathul Bari, Hadith: 891 and Hashiyatus Sindhi ‘Ala Musnadil Imam Ahmad, vol. 2 pg. 734)
Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration without the words ‘habitually’. See here
Note:
The Hanafi Jurists have stated that a person should occasionally recite a different Surah lest the congregation deem these Surahs binding. Kindly refer to a reputable Mufti/Darul Ifta for further details.
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
