What is the authenticity of the following Hadith?
The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) said:
‘The best Dhikr is that which is done quietly and the best provision (livelihood) is that which is sufficient.’
Answer:
This Hadith is suitable to quote.
(Musannaf ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 35518 & Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 809)
Note: Despite the break in the chain, there is sufficient support for the meaning, therefore Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has authenticated it.
