Distribution of sustenance

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I would like to know how is rizq distributed?

Bismillaah

A: Allah Ta’ala is the one who is solely in charge of distributing sustenance to His servants. He distributes sustenance in the manner He wishes. It is not possible for a man to comprehend and fully encompass every plan and decree of Allah Ta’ala. Hence when distribution of sustenance is in the hands of Allah Ta’ala, then we should leave it to Him.

Allah Ta’ala says in the Holy Qur’an:

There is no moving creature on earth except that upon Allah is its sustenance and He knows its permanent abode and its temporary abode. Everything is (recorded) in the clear book.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
