Is it sunnah to recite ya nooru and ya qawiyyu 7 times after salah whilst blowing on the fingers or putting the hand on the hand respectively?
Answer
The practice of placing the hand on the head after salah does have its roots in the sunnah. See here.
The habit you are querying is not exactly from the hadith, and neither is it propagated as such. It’s based on experience of the ‘Ulama.
There is no harm in doing it as long as one does not attribute it to the hadith.
