What is status of following narration?

إن أحسنت أمتي فلها يوم وإن أساءت فلها نصف يوم

Answer

‘Allamah Sakhawi (rahimahullah) has declared this narration baseless.

(Al Maqasidul Hasanah, Hadith: 1243. Also see: Faydul Qadir, Hadith: 4277)
