Can I quote this narration?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“The best of the actions is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah”
Answer:
Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (radiyallahu ‘anhu).
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4589, Musnad Ahmad, vol. 5 pg. 146)
The Hadith is corroborated and suitable to quote.
