Answer

‘Women are counterparts of men/akin to men.’

This is an excerpt of a longer Hadith and should be quoted as such, to gain its full understanding.

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was asked about a man who found moisture [on his clothes or body after waking up] but did not remember having a sexual dream. He answered, “That man should bath.”

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was [also] asked about a man who remembers having a sexual dream but doesn’t find any moisture [on his clothes or body after waking up]. He answered, “It is not incumbent on him to bath.”

Umm Salamah (radiyallahu’anha) then asked if the same applies to women in these situations. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) answered, “Yes, women are counterparts of men/akin to men.”

Counterpart: a person or thing that closely resembles another, especially in function.

Akin: Having some of the same qualities.
