Translation of a Hadith regarding counting dhikr on the fingers

Kindly assist with the translation of this narration

قال لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عليكن بالتسبيح والتهليل والتقديس واعقدن بالأنامل فإنهن مسئولات مستنطقات

Answer

Translation

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) told us:

“Hold fast onto making tasbih [saying Subhanallah], tahlil [saying La ilaha illallah] and glorifying Allah, and count them on your fingers for they [your fingers] will be questioned and asked to speak”

Reference

Imam Tirmidhi and Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyidah Yusayrah (radiyallahu ‘anha). Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahullah) has recorded it with slight variation in the wording.
