What is status of following narration?
يا سلمان ما من مسلم يدخل على أخيه المسلم فيلقي له وسادة إكراما له إلا غفر الله له
Answer:
Imam Hakim and Tabarani (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith.
(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 3 pg. 599, Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 1599).
‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith unreliable (خبر ساقط).

Translation
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “O Salman! No Muslim enters upon his Muslim brother who then passes him a pillow/cushion honouring him, except that Allah will forgive him.”
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
