A fabricated Hadith on the punishment for backbiting

What is the authenticity of the following Hadith?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“I know of some inhabitants of Jahannam, fire will enter through their ears and exit through their mouth, and enter through their mouth and exit through the ears. A thunderous roar will resonate from their bellies, like the sound of a flood. They are those who would backbite, pursue and search for the faults of others”

Answer

Backbiting and fault finding are major sins and should be avoided at all costs.

As far as the narration in question is concerned, Imam Daylami (rahimahullah) has recorded it with a chain that consists of a fabricator.

‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has cited this narration in his book on fabricated narrations.

The Hadith should not be quoted.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
