What is the reliability of this Hadith?
‘Amir ibn Rabi’ah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports from his father who says:
“I saw Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) using a miswak while he was fasting more often than I can count”
Answer:
Imam Tirmidhi and Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith. Imam Tirmidhi has declared the Hadith sound (hasan). Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has also cited this narration in a sub heading (ta’liqan).
