Clarification on question #3534 (19 Sep 2021)
This practice is also used:
1) When choosing a wife/husband, claiming that this couple is incompatible for creating a family, because their temperaments do not suit each other;
2) When choosing a business partner or choosing friends for the path, claiming that you will not succeed because you have incompatible signs.
Answer
Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Remember that you cannot fully trust the conclusion. At most, this is just regarded as an indication.
Hence, both scenarios will only be permissible if you phrase the words correctly. You should say: It seems as if this boy and girl / business partners / friends might not be compatible, and hence you should look into it further.
You should not claim with absolute certainty that their temperaments are not matching, or that they are incompatible. Otherwise, it will not be permissible.
