Is selling Saree permissible? Please answer according to Hanbali or Maliki school of thought . Saree is a traditional dress worn in India by women.

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
It will depend on the social custom within the community where you live.
If it is the salient dress of the Hindus in your area, then it will not be permissible.
However, if Muslims and non Muslims wear the saree in your city, then it will be permissible.
