Dog or wine touching your clothes.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulUloomTT.net

Q. If a dog touches your clothes, can you pray with it and also if wine falls on your clothes can you pray with it?

A. Wine is considered to be ‘a grave impurity’ and hence, when it falls onto one’s clothes it must be removed. However, if it is a small amount, it would be overlooked and exempted for the validity of one’s Salaah. If the amount of wine that has fallen on the clothes is approximately 12 mm in diameter or less then you will be allowed to perform Salaah in these clothes. If it is more than 15 mm in diameter then you will not be allowed to perform Salaah with that clothing, you will need to wash the area on which wine had fallen, or you may wash the entire cloth.

The hair of the dog is not impure, hence, if it touches your clothing, you can pray in it.

And Allah knows best.
