On which day the Holy Quran was revealed

Answer:
From the following hadith we can derive that the start of the revelation of the Holy Quran began on a Monday.
Saaiduna Abu Qatadah Radiallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam was asked about the fast of Monday. He said: “There in I was born and there in revelation came to me.” (Sahih Muslim p.368 v.1)
