If a Person Delivers Pizza With Pork, Will His Income Be Regarded As Haram?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

If a person works as a pizza delivery and also delivers sometimes pizza with pork, will his income be regarded as Haram? or will it be said, that he is paid for the time he is giving?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Working as a delivery driver would be permissible even if you sometimes may deliver haram pizza, this is because according to Imam Abu Hanifah [rahimahullah] the act of delivering is not in itself sinful nor is it the direct means to committing sin. However, there are some scholars within the Hanafi school of thought that would deem it makrooh (disliked), therefore making dua to Allah Azzawajjal to bless you with an income that is halal, pure and causes content in your heart.
