Question

Is it permissible for a pregnant woman to have her private areas and legs shaved by a women’s parlor if she can’t reach that area due to the size of the belly and difficulty etc?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It will not be allowed for a pregnant woman to have her private areas and legs shaved by another woman due to the difficulty of doing it herself because of pregnancy which is a temporary difficulty and is only experienced in the last few months of pregnancy. If however there is a health risk such as fear or probability of infection or developing sores,  or worse then it will be allowed. [1]
