Question

What is the ruling about glitter? Will wudu or ghusl be valid?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The conditions of Wudhu and ghusl is that water must reach all the areas that need to be washed.

Therefore, if glitter or any other substance prevents this from happening it must be removed. However, if after making attempts to remove it, tiny specks remain it will not harm the Ghusl or Wudhu.

Only Allah knows best
