Question:
1. In Bangladesh and many other places, the common people ignorant of fiqh think that the only method is to give a talaq is to say it thrice. These ignorant people think saying it once isn’t the proper method.
2. However, the intention is to give one talaq
3. In such a case, would it be 1 talaq since that was the intention, and he was only ignorant that the proper procedure is say talaq only once.
