Salam alikom.wrwb. I have two children and am 38 years of age. In Sha Allah I want to have one more child and my doctor advised me to not to delay it however my husband decided that he no longer wishes to have any more kids. We can financially provide and I alhamdolillah make an effort to raise our kids islamically. He is very stubborn about the matter and prevents pregnancy trough the use of condoms. I want to know if I take the content of the condom and ejaculate it in my body in order to get pregnant without his knowledge would be acceptable or not? If I get pregnant I know that he would be okay with it. I tried everything from educating him about my rights, nice talk and giving him a happy life at home etc but without any obvious reasons he keeps preventing it. Due to my age my time is limited. Please advise. Jazakum Allah khairan

We understand that you are facing a dilemma between your wish to have another child and keeping your husband satisfied. In such a situation, the best thing to do will be to speak to your husband and enquire his reasons for not wanting another child. If you feel that his reason is not valid, try to explain it to him. If you still feel that you are not making any progress, make dua that Allah opens his heart to having a child.
But by no means should you deceive him or do something behind his back, as it is not obligatory to have children, whereas it is not permissible to disobey one’s husband. The same would apply if the husband wanted children and the wife didn’t.
Only Allah knows best.
