Why are babies washed immediately after birth

Answer:

Bismillah

Blood is a part of human body. When taken out of the body, it is considered najis or impure, which is necessary to wash off. Therefore, babies should be washed after birth. (Maariful Quran P.429 V.1 Maraaqi Falah P.36)
