Fasting and purity 1) Does masturbation breaks the fast 2) does wet dream ahtilam breaks the fast? 3) during ghusl for gaining purity aftr ahtilam:if some one puts water in throat for gargles,does it effect our fast? If someone is sure tht water wil not go below throat thn it is allowed or not?
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1835/1531=B/1429)
(1, 2) If semen was discharged due to masturbation then the fast will break and one has to make it up.
(3) No, the fast will not break.
(4) Do not gargle while fasting, otherwise it is feared that it may cause water reaching to inside throat. If the water did not reach inside throat the fast shall remain intact.
