I have a question which a friend of mine told me. He wants to know that if a person fulfills his sexual desire after eating a morsel of haram food and her wife conceives on the same night, the son/daughter born is not legitimate. Kindly give a detailed answer.

He shall be sinful for eating morsel of haram food; hence it is necessary to avoid it. But the child that is born from his wife shall not be unlawful and illegitimate, rather his linage shall establish from the husband.
