Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Please could you inform me about the permissibility of calling upon deceased friends of ALLAH for help. Eg. Madad Ya Abdul KAder Jillani, or Madad ya Rasoolallah

Answer

(Fatwa: 1255/763/D=1432)

It is not lawful to seek help directly from Prophets and pious persons. It is mentioned in the holy Quran:
And it is mentioned in Mishkah:
If one has the belief that at the time of seeking help the Prophets and pious persons listen to his voice and come to help him then it is shirk. Hence, help never should be sought in this way.
However, it is alright to supplicate Almighty Allah with the intermediation of Prophets and pious persons, for example, O Allah fulfill my so and so job with the intermediation of Prophets or so and so pious person.
