A man dies leaving a wife, 6 sons and 3 daughters. The wife is the mother of all the children. How should the inheritance of the deceased be distributed accordihg to Shariah?

(Fatwa: 541/J)

In the above case, after the due rights preceding inheritance, the entire property of the dead will be distributed in to 120 (one hundred twenty) shares. Out of these shares, the wife will receive 15 (fifteen) shares, each daughter will get 7 (seven) shares and each son will get 14 (fourteen) shares.
