Can I work part-time as an accountant for a friend’s halal business funded by a bank loan?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Basically, I am an accountant. One of my friends is doing marketing business. His products are halal items like chocolates etc but his whole investment is from bank loan. Is it ok for me to work with him as a part time accountant for his income tax purpose and can I get a salary for that?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 283/250/D=03/1435)

It is lawful to work as an account for income tax and derive salary for the same. Your job and salary shall be alright, no matter if the person has taken loan from the bank. However, he shall be sinful due to interest based loan.
