In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

The answer to your question is as follows:

Men have only been permitted to wear silver rings. Wearing a ring made from other substances is impermissible.

عن عبدِ الله بنِ بُريدة عن أبيه: أن رجلاً جاء إلى النبيِّ -صلَّى الله عليه وسلم- وعليه خاتِمٌ من شَبَهٍ، فقال له: “ما لي أجِدُ مِنْكَ رِيحَ الأصنامِ؟ ” فطرحه، ثم جاء وعليه خاتِمٌ من حديدٍ، فقال: “ما لي أرى عليكَ حِليةَ أهلِ النارِ؟ ” فطرحَهَ، فقال: يا رسولَ الله – صلَّى الله عليه وسلم -، مِن أيِّ شيءٍ أتَّخِذُه؟ قال: اتَّخِذْهُ من وَرِقٍ، ولا تُتِمَّهُ مِثقالاً” (سنن ابی داؤد 6/281)
