Answer:
If there is impurity on your carpet, then wash the affected area and dry the carpet using any conventional drying tool like a hairdryer or fan.

( قوله : ووضعه في الماء الجاري الخ ) يعني اشتراط الغسل والعصر ثلاثا إنما هو إذا غمسه في إجانة أما إذا غمسه في ماء جار حتى جرى عليه الماء أو صب عليه ماء كثير بحيث يخرج ما أصابه من الماء ويخلفه غيره ثلاثا فقد طهر مطلقا بلا اشتراط عصر وتجفيف وتكرار غمس ، هو المختار (الطحطاوي ص ١٦٢ دار الكتب العلمية)
