As salaam walaikum
This question is on behalf of my sister she wanted to know is there a specific day to perform a ghusl as her mom said you can’t perform ghusl on 8th day of the period? As she wanted to take ghusl on 7th day but couldn’t take for some reason so she should perform a ghusl on 9th day directly??? Or is it ok to perform on 8th day?
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, one should perform ghusl immediately after the menses has ended, whether it is the eighth day or any other day[1].
