Q: What are the rules regarding talaaq (divorce) while the wife is pregnant?

There is no difference with regard to Talaaq issued to a pregnant or non pregnant wife. The difference is in the period of Iddat. The Iddat of a pregnant wife who has been issued Talaaq will end at the birth of the baby. (Al Hindiyyah V1 P528)Moulana Yusuf Laher
