Carp Fish and Prawns

Q: Is carp halaal? What about prawns?

A: Carp is a fish and is, therefore, totally halaal. Prawns are not halaal in the Hanafi math-hab because this is not a fish. In the Hanafi math-hab, only fish among seafood is halaal.
