Dream About Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askmufti.co.za
I had a dream about the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam but I was part of his janaaza namaaz (funeral prayer).
The dream was about just before fajr and it started where people were telling me the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam passed away. Some lady was saying he should be buried in Jordan but I can’t remember much about that part. That passed and then the people said the janaaza will begin. The janaaza namaaz was in a huge courtyard or something but it was a bit in the olden days because things looked a bit old. There were news cameras as well because this was the biggest janaaza namaaz ever.
Then the call was made and the namaaz began. I didn’t start right away as I looked at the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam’s janaaza which was wrapped in kafan (shroud). I could not see his mubarak (blessed) face but I began to cry to think that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam’s body is lying right in front of me and so close to me.
That’s when i woke up for fajr.
Could you please tell me what does this dream signify? Or if there is any significance?

A: Seeing Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi wa Sallam) in a dream in a deceased form or his Janaazah, indicates neglect in matters of Deen and Sunnah. Such a person should immediately resort to Taubah and should become more firm and mindful of The Sunnah.
