Is fasting permissible today?
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, it is Makrooh Tahreemi for one to fast on the “Ayyam al-Tashreeq”.[1]Therefore, it will not be permissible for one to fast today[2] since it is the last “Day of Tashreeq”.
