I understand wine and alcohol are haram but is vinegar? Specifically is Apple Cider Vinegar Halal?

Vinegar is not only halāl, the Prophet صلىاللهعليهوسلمeven praised it.

حدثنىعبداللهبنعبدالرحمنالدارمىأخبرنايحيىبنحسانأخبرناسليمانبنبلالعنهشامبنعروةعنأبيهعنعائشةأنالنبىصلىاللهعليهوسلمقالنعمالأدمأوالإدامالخل

(صحيحمسلم،كتابالأشربة،بابفضيلةالخلوالتأدمبه: 6/125؛الجيل)

The Prophet صلىاللهعليهوسلمsaid, “How great of a condiment is vinegar” (Muslim)
