I took a wasta of Allah and his rasool that i will never talk to this man (who was earlier my friend )for ever , never talk on phone,no sms,no mails ,not to attend his call, i will never speak about him to any body, but i could not do so, aftr one month i spoke to him on phone, i spoke about him to my colleages also,and i some times want to talk to him , so i want to know wether i did big sin or gunah ,if i did,please suggest me what should i do, what is the way to come out of my guilt,

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful


Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

 

If a person took an oath and broke it, he will have to give kafarah, i.e. he should feed ten poor people or clothe ten poor people.

 

One has the option to either feed ten poor people two meals or alternatively give ten poor people the food or groceries of two meals. If a person chooses to give groceries it should be equivalent to 1.64kg of wheat or 3.27kg of barley.

 

If a person chooses to clothe ten poor people then, he should give such clothes which will cover majority of a person’s body. The clothing should not be very old. If a person clothes a woman he will have to give enough clothes to cover her entire body.

 

If a person is so poor that he is unable to feed or cloth ten people then, he should keep three consecutive fasts.

 

المبسوط للسرخسي – (ج 8 / ص 125) دار الفكر

وفيه دليل أن الوظيفة لكل مسكين نصف صاع من حنطة أو صاع من تمر أو صاع من شعير وهكذا روى عن عائشة وبن عباس رضي الله عنهم وذكر بعده عن علي رضي الله عنه نصف صاع من حنطة وقد بينا هذه المسألة في كتاب الظهار وكفارة اليمين مثله وقد بينا أن دقيق الحنطة وسويقها بمنزلة الحنطة لأن ما هو المقصود يحصل للفقير بهما مع سقوط مؤنة الطحن عنه. وقد بينا أن طعام الإباحة تتأدى به الكفارة عندنا والمعتبر فيه أكلتان مشبعتان سواء كان خبز البر مع الطعام أو بغير أدام وإن أعطى قيمة الطعام يجوز فكذلك في كفارة اليمين وكذلك إن غداهم وأعطاهم قيمة العشاء اعتبارا للبعض بالكل وهذا لأن المقصود واحد وقد أتى من كل وظيفة بنصفه وإن غداهم وعشاهم وفيهم صبي فطم أو فوق ذلك شيئا لم يجز لأنه لا يستوفي كمال الوظيفة كما يستوفيه البالغ, وعليه طعام مسكين واحد مكانه

وأما الكسوة فهو اسم لما يكتسى به ،

والمقصود منها رد العري ، وكل ثوب يصير به مكتسيا يسمى كسوة وإلا فلا
