I am a divorcee and wish to re-marry again, I have following queires 1. Can I marry a divorcee with a girl child? 2. If yes, would I be mehram or non-mehram to this girl who’s mother I marry? 3. Would my responsibilities be same as her biological father? Please answer the above in the view and light of Islam and Hadith.

Answer

It is permissible for you to marry a divorcee. There is nothing wrong with that. You will be a Mahram to the woman’s daughter. If you take care of the child, you will be immensely rewarded for that.
