Is it bad to begin to memorize a surah starting from its middle?
Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
I pray that you are in the best of health and faith, insha’Allah.
I asked Shaykh `Ali Hani this question and he commented that this is fine for the purposes of memorization.
