If somebody has started leading namaaz, who have no one fist beared or cloths according sunnah; can a haafiz join this namaaz?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Jazakallaho khayr, Mufti saheb for the following reply Fatwa #  13860

n refernce to same question but different condition:

Can I ask you that if I am leading namaz and full haafiz is following me (obviously I give opportunity to lead haafiz first but what if I started and then he joins; will this still be allowed?

Also, if somebody has started leading namaaz, who have no one fist beared or cloths according sunnah; can a haafiz join this namaaz? Or better he would avoid and pray later making new jamaat?

Answer

The Salaat of the Haafiz will be valid in both instances.

Every effort should be made that the Imaam adheres to the Shari’ah even in his appearance, beard and attire, etc.
