I may need to take some prostate medication which comes in capsule form. The capsule, like in most medicines, is made from gelatin. In this instance it is from the cattle. Is it permissible to use these capsules?

Answer:

If there is no medicine beside this then you may take this medication. (Raddul Mukhtaar vol.1 pg.210)
